Giving Back
GNAA supports the Nashville area and Middle Tennessee with service projects that meet the needs and concerns of the larger community and industry. The GNAA Community Service Committee is responsible for partnering with local nonprofits to serve others.
GNAA Emergency Relief Program
GNAA founded the Emergency Relief Program (ERP) in 1997 to help families displaced from apartment homes due to fire, flood, and other disasters. ERP is funded through the Community Service Committee’s annual fundraiser, Beer, Butts, and BBQ. Event attendees enjoy great competition barbecue, libations, field games, and a dessert auction. The monies raised at Beer, Butts, and Barbecue are used to purchase retail gift cards that are presented to victims so that they may replace necessary items that were lost as a result of the disaster.
Volunteerism
The Community Service Committee is also responsible for fundraising and hosting many events throughout the year to help GNAA’s charities of choice. GNAA has volunteered with nonprofits such as Fiftyforward, How's Nashville, King's Daughter Child Development Center, Nashville Rescue Mission, and The Little Pantry That Could.
