The Apartment Tour Committee organizes the annual Apartment Tour, which highlights communities who are engaging in up-and-coming trends across the rental housing industry.

The annual GNAA Apartment Tour is an exclusive, guided tour opportunity for the rental housing industry's upper and regional management to experience the newest amenities in action at communities in Middle Tennessee. Trends change quickly when it comes to what residents want in their rental housing communities and the Apartment Tour Committee evaluates GNAA members' properties to locate communities that have desirable on-site amenities, have completed an impressive rehabilitation of space, or has a wow-worthy model that potential residents are looking for in a unit. After reviewing several properties, the Apartment Tour Committee selects 4 communities to exhibit in the tour and they choose a theme for that year's Apartment Tour.
The tour begins at the GNAA office around 8:30 am. Attendees are treated to a continental breakfast and they receive branded tote bags to use throughout the day. Transportation is included; after breakfast, a charter bus departs with attendees on board to take them to the first 2 communities on the tour. Attendees receive an in-depth guided tour of the communities as they enjoy snacks and giveaways at each location. Lunch is also included on the Apartment Tour at a trendy dining location nearby the communities and a relevant guest speaker discusses the history of the area along with providing a market survey update. After returning to the charter bus, the tour continues to review the remaining 2 communities. After all, communities have been toured, a special giveaway drawing is held where one lucky attendee wins a huge gift basket full of themed goodies. The charter bus typically returns to the GNAA office around 3:00 pm.
Limited sponsorship opportunities for suppliers are available for this event and only suppliers who are sponsors can attend the tour, giving sponsors the option to spend the entire day on Apartment Tour with rental housing decision-makers.
